The owners and staff are the best part of this authentic Mexican bed-and-breakfast style hotel. They’re accommodating and friendly, and the breakfasts made each morning were excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable, and good value for the money. It isn’t the Holiday Inn: there’s no hot water or air conditioning. The shower is cool, which can be refreshing, and our room had a ceiling fan. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a Mexican experience with warm, friendly people.

My simple room, 8B, had a balcony with lovely views of Playa Panteón. I spent the day sunbathing and the evenings sitting under the stars. It was peaceful and tranquil, and I loved my stay.

A good choice if you’re watching your budget and mainly want to enjoy the beach. It’s a one-minute walk away, with a restaurant right beside it serving whatever seafood you’re after. The ocean views and atmosphere are wonderful and relaxing. I recommend it.

I first stayed at Capy's 30 years ago, and it’s still my go-to whenever I visit Puerto Angel. It’s clean, friendly, reasonably priced, and an authentic Mexican hotel with a pleasant feel and incredibly beautiful Pacific views.
