The sheets had stains all over them. Our rooms were excellent otherwise, but there were no mosquito nets, so local wildlife could get in, including some surprisingly huge cockroaches. There was no water in the shower, so luckily I wasn’t made to bathe. The customer service was wonderful and discreet, of course.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. The manager was rude, the service was terrible, and the rooms were dirty, with cockroaches in several of them. There was no hot water at night and no water in the morning. Both beds had dirty sheets and bedspreads stained with fluids. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I wouldn’t come back. The room felt dirty, and the mattress, sheets, and towels were unclean and in bad shape, with holes in them. The facilities looked new, which was the only good thing. At $1,430 a night, it’s far too expensive for what you get, especially when $1,000 already feels like a lot for a hotel like this. The layout was bad too. The bathroom window faces the hotel entrance, so leaving it open means people could see you naked, but closing it makes the room incredibly hot. I didn’t try the “free” breakfast, and it didn’t look appealing.

The architecture is nice, the location is good, and the price is within the top range. The hygiene was the terrible part. I spent two nights there, and my room was never cleaned. There were no towels, and getting reception to check on it was a hassle. Aside from that, everything was acceptable to good.
