The restaurant serves a shared, family-style meal with daily specials brought to the center of the table. There isn’t a menu, and the service is excellent. Breakfast is offered Friday through Sunday with reservations, and it has a Morelos theme. We tried coffee, fruit, pancakes with homemade guava jam, cucumber water, eggs in tomato and cilantro broth, cactus in chipotle sauce, itacates (a type of tamale), sopes (a type of thick corn tortilla), pancita (tripe stew), and marinated meat. Everything was excellent, and it all came with freshly made tortillas. The setting is spectacular, and this is an event venue with lodging and a small pool. The rooms look comfortable and private, set far enough from the restaurant and garden. The well-kept event garden is spacious enough for around 150 people. Older children, over 5 years old, have a large play area, and entertainers invite guests to dance the Chinelo with them. It made the stay extremely enjoyable.

The family atmosphere is welcoming, and the weekend breakfast buffet has a theme. Traditional Chinelos add to the fun. A great place to spend a weekend.

We had a very pleasant family stay. There’s a large, well-kept garden and children’s play areas in two separate zones.

The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.
