Hotel Delf-inn

Nice place.

The rooms were clean and tidy, with two large towels, two small ones, a shampoo packet, and hand soap. Bring your own toiletries. Someone was also there to help carry luggage up to the room. We showed up early in the morning without a reservation and asked if there was anything available. Luckily, there was, and the service was good. Since there were five of us, we needed two double rooms for just seven hours. I thought the nearly $3000 price was a bit high, though breakfast was included: a small plate of fruit, a little coffee, and a simple pancake that was slightly undercooked. The hotel is on a busy street. Buses start going by around 6:30 a.m. and make a lot of noise. The elevator only fits two people at a time. I also saw an older woman with leg problems and a wheelchair struggling on the stairs. There is a wheelchair ramp at the entrance, but getting to reception means climbing steps, and that section has only stairs. For older guests, especially someone using a wheelchair, getting up and down is difficult, even with the elevator going up those stairs.

The place is amazing, and after visiting every state, I’d call it the best hotel I’ve stayed in. I was there for three months and had a great experience, though I did have four issues with one room, haha. Cleanliness was good but not excellent, and there are a few minor details. I’d rate it 4.68. There’s a complimentary restaurant in the morning, and the receptionist’s service and quality are incredible. The location is good, with a bank and an Oxxo convenience store just down the street. Sometimes you hear street noise, but the rooms are well built, so there isn’t much noise between rooms. It covers the basic needs well. Internet gets a 4 out of 5 since it sometimes cuts out. The TV internet, channels, and bathroom space are perfect. There’s an elevator, outdoor areas with tables and chairs, and a gym that isn’t very big, but its machines and treadmill work well.
