Villas Colibri by Rotamundos Hotel

I checked in around 11 pm on August 29, 2023. The next morning, at 10:37 am, Mr. Francisco knocked and told me I had to leave because checkout was at 10 am. But the online information said the room was due at 12 pm. I asked for time to shower and gather my belongings. I'd paid the full amount, $1862.00 MX pesos.

The service was good when we came for a wedding over the weekend, but heavy rain left us without power and water twice. The first outage lasted from 11 pm until around 9 am, and we had to go outside to shower and get ready. At 7 am the manager came by to say there was no water because of the power cut, but couldn't say when service would be restored. I understand the issue was external, but they should have a plan for it. Without water, using the bathroom in the room gets dirty and uncomfortable, and water is essential at a hotel or villa. The nightly price feels high for what's on offer, which is basically somewhere to sleep after an event. There's no parking inside, just spaces outside. Cleanliness wasn't great either: the sheets were dirty, so we asked to have them changed for the second night.
