The balcony had an excellent view, and both churches were within walking distance. It's a small, charming hotel up on the hill. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept.

The location is excellent, but I wouldn't call it an ideal place to stay while visiting Cuetzalan. The rooms are tiny, with cockroaches and a noticeable sewage smell. The little bathroom needs a proper cleaning to remove the mold. There's usually nobody at reception, and the internet doesn't reach the rooms.

The rooms are a good size, and the cleaning service is very efficient. It has the basics for a comfortable stay, though the beds are a bit small and there aren't enough power outlets for devices.

It's noisy, but it works perfectly if all you need is a roof, bathroom, hot water, and bed. The location is the best, near Peña los Jarritos, the bus station, caves, waterfalls, and even the hospital. The rooms are clean and have the basics. The receptionist rescued us from our bad travel planning, and the staff were super attentive. We also had a guard dog, a little dog we loved seeing. I even got lucky enough to be woken early by a singer, her neighbor.
