ESDUMA HK Hotel Pachuca

The included breakfast was amazing, gourmet, and offered lots of choices. I also loved the espresso maker in the room and the large, fluffy bath towels. Best of all, the king-size bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up in the mornings. What a great hotel. Why can’t I find a place like this everywhere?

The breakfast options were excellent, and the morning service was the standout part of the property. I wish that same high standard carried over to the rest of the hotel. Check-in service was lacking, even though we’d called ahead to say we would arrive late. My friend and I were accused of taking towels after we reported that none were in our rooms, and the main check-in staff member went upstairs to check whether we were telling the truth. We had also booked four rooms with double-bed preferences, but not one had a double bed. Water pressure was low, although the rooms were modern and the beds comfortable.

The room was comfortable, and the people were nice. Breakfast was good and included. The setup is nice, though the windows in the rooms don’t open, so it’s A/C only. The area is congested, but there are several food options within walking distance.

The hotel itself is okay, but I was disgusted to find they don’t provide covers for the sheets. I doubt the sheets are changed every day, and that doesn’t seem sanitary. When I asked, they said they didn’t have sheet covers.
