Hotel Lucerna Culiacan

The building is beautiful, the location is good, and the room decor looked nice. None of that made up for the bedding and chemical smell, though. The white comforter had blood stains, so I complained and was moved to another room that smelled freshly fumigated. After about 10 minutes in there I started feeling sick and asked to return to the first room. They did move me back and changed the comforter, but the replacement seemed to have come from the smelly room. It reeked of chemicals and had even bigger blood stains. The staff were nice, but couldn't make the right correction. I hope someone in charge takes notice and brings in a cleaning and disinfecting crew. It's a shame to let hygiene slip here.

The service was awesome, and everyone was really friendly 👍

The staff were attentive and personable, and the hotel went beyond what I expected. It was my first stay here and my first visit to Culiacán. I'd definitely come back.

Nice building, good location, and appealing room decor, but none of that matters with stained bedding and rooms that smell awful. The white comforter had blood on it, so I complained. They moved me to a room that smelled as if it had just been fumigated, and I started to feel sick after about 10 minutes there. I asked to go back to the first room, and they did move me. They changed the comforter, but the new one seemed to be from the smelly room. It had a strong chemical odor and larger blood stains than the first one. The personnel were nice but couldn't take the appropriate corrective action. I hope someone responsible sees this and hires a cleaning and disinfecting crew. It's a real shame that hygiene has declined here.
