From room 22, I could see the malecon, the beach vendor tents, and gorgeous sunsets. The pool was large and clean, and housekeeping was good. The location is another plus. The rooms were clean, but clearly hadn't been maintained in years. The bath faucets in 22 wiggled a full 180° when turned on or off, and for hot water you had to ask the front desk to light the boiler.

It felt like a ghost town after dark, with nothing open and mosquitoes everywhere. The place also looks nothing like the online photos, and the listed prices weren't right. Our room came without AC, a TV, or even a fan. The guy said we'd have to pay more for a different room. It was nothing like the online description.
