Hotel Baeza

We needed somewhere to sleep after a long drive before another demanding day on the road, so we didn’t bother complaining. Still, we wouldn’t stay here again. The photos on Booking don’t match what you find. The lobby looks nice, but once you go upstairs, it’s clear the building is very old. That wouldn’t have bothered us if it had been described honestly or if renovations were underway. Our bathroom was falling apart, with tiles coming loose and paint peeling from the ceiling. The “view” was nonexistent, and there was no chance of a quiet night. Air-conditioning units buzzed loudly right outside our window all night, on a small “balcony” that could have been properly finished. At the very least, the windows could have been cleaned. Late check-in was available, and the staff at both the hotel and restaurant were very friendly. Breakfast was included in the price, with coffee or juice.
