Hotel Gobernador

The restaurant and bar are amazing, and the atmosphere is great. The rooms are nice, parking is easy to access, and security on the premises is a plus. Convenient location, too.

I’m completely sure I left my limited edition Hermes Oran Splash sandals under the bed. When I got home and unpacked, they were nowhere to be found. Please check your things before leaving, because they aren’t honest and won’t return your personal items. Housekeeping knew the sandals were worth around a thousand dollars and chose to keep them. Zero honesty.

We’d always stayed here and had lovely experiences, but this time was awful. We booked four rooms, and mine had a huge leak from the air conditioning. There was so much water that we couldn’t sleep. I complained at the front desk and was told it had been fixed, but when we returned for a second night, the leak was even worse. When I complained again, they said I should have come to the lobby so they could move me. The front desk assistant said he couldn’t do anything, and the manager doesn’t work weekends. They took my number, but nobody has called. I have videos to share.

The food is good, though some dishes are better than others. The staff, front desk, and housekeeping were great. But the toilet barely flushes because there’s no water pressure, so I had to fill a trash can to flush it. The sink faucet leaked and soaked everything left on the sink, including our things. Our towels were put there too, so they got wet, and we had to get dry ones from the desk. The place needs upkeep. We’re here for a big family reunion, and other relatives staying here have had similar issues. They’ll post their own reviews too.
