Paulina was so welcoming from the moment I arrived. I got there before check-in, and she helped sort things out. When I said my mom had decided to stay with me, she moved me to a bigger room. The cafe de olla and the food were delicious, too. My room had loads of character, including an adobe wall preserved from the original building during restoration. The hotel's location is great, with places reachable on foot or by a quick taxi ride. All the workers were kind and accommodating. I'd have a hard time not coming back, and would recommend Hotel Boutique Casona Los Pavorreales over any hotel in the area if you're visiting Durango. Thanks to Paulina and the whole team for the hospitality! 🫶🏽

The staff were helpful at every turn, and the place itself is beautiful. It feels like great value for the money. I'd gladly recommend it and hope to stay again.

Before I came to Durango, all I knew was the Bob Dylan song "Romance in Durango." Then I met Paulina, the manager, who told me a lot about the city's history. She speaks English, which made things easier for me, and gave me suggestions for restaurants and things to see. Thanks to her and the team.

We stayed two nights, my dad and I, and wouldn't change a thing. Paulina and the staff were generous and thoughtful, even helping two travelers with limited Spanish book bus tickets. The room was comfortable and clean, with lovely decor. We especially liked the doors and locks, and breakfast was great. The hotel is in a quiet spot, just a four-minute walk from all the action.

The room we stayed in was filthy. There was hair on the dirty sheets, and the pillowcases were really nasty. I'll never stay here again.
