Finca San Javier

The front desk service was really helpful. When our original ride fell through, the woman there got us a quote and booked a taxi to Guadalajara airport. We stayed one night for a friend's wedding in a cute hacienda-style three-bedroom junior suite on a gorgeous property. The beds were comfortable, and two balconies looked out over flowers. We were offered small bottles of white Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon as welcome drinks. Wifi worked in our room and near the front desk, but not elsewhere on the property. The room could sleep six but was only prepared for two, with just two towels and two water glasses, so we had to request more. We also had to ask for the A/C remote. There was only one mirror, in the bathroom, so we got ready in another friend's room, which had two mirrors outside the bathroom as well as one inside.

We had a large amount of money stolen from my wallet and from the groom at the wedding we attended. Another guest told me someone had gone through her belongings too. The hotel is beautiful, but it's awful that somebody searched our personal things and stole from us. Staff said they couldn't do anything because there were no cameras, so unfortunately I can't give the hotel a good review.

Someone in our group used a wheelchair, and the staff went out of their way to help. There wasn't a special entrance, but they lifted the chair and made the needed arrangements so the person could feel welcome and comfortable. I'm very grateful.

A cozy spot for special celebrations. The service was a little poor, though. They didn't clean our room and gave no explanation.
