El cuyo is a lovely little fishing village without crowds of tourists, beach clubs, or beach noise. Aria is easily one of the best hotels in the Yucatan peninsula. It’s not right on the beach, but getting there is easy. At sunset, the rooftop view is magical, with the sea on one side and a lagoon full of flamingos on the other. There are two pools, one upstairs and one on the ground floor, both nice places to relax and reconnect with nature. The only noise you might hear is birds chirping. Our studio had a huge TV, good internet, great AC, a very comfortable bed, and the most amazing hammock I’ve ever tried. The hotel is impressively clean, which is rare in Mexico, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. They also offer room cleaning and fresh towels and sheets every couple of days, which was great for a longer stay. Mia is always around to help, and she’s one of the kindest hotel staff members you could meet in the Yucatan peninsula. She’s attentive, makes sure guests are comfortable, and is ready to help with anything. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️

We loved our stay. The room was lovely and everything was clean. Àngel was really kind and helped us right away when we had a problem with the car. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Mexico. I can only recommend it to anyone staying in el cuyo!

Hotel Aria made a wonderful weekend for our family of four. The owner or manager was welcoming and attentive, which made the visit even better. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the large, well-equipped rooms have kitchens and were very clean. There are two pools and so many other features I can’t list them all. We’ve stayed elsewhere in El Cuyo before, but boutique hotel Aria is now our first choice. I highly recommend it.

A friend suggested Aria for my recent few days in El Cuyo, where I was returning after a while to reconnect with this charming town. Now I understand the recommendation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel also has everything you might need. Stay at least two nights if you want time to enjoy the area’s activities, and don’t miss the special sunset views from the rooftop. They’re breathtaking.
