We expected a refund of one-third of the cost after leaving following the first night of a three-night booking, but the accommodation wouldn't offer one. Complaints were brushed off, and it felt like they were just waiting us out. We felt cheated. Nearby, we found another place that was clean, well maintained and welcoming. The difference was enormous. There were serious problems with this stay: the bathroom lock was broken, with no key, yet we were still expected to pay. The place was unclean and generally unkempt. The pool left a slippery feeling on the skin, seemingly from chemicals rather than water changes. Insects were everywhere despite closed doors and windows. There was a power outage in another room, and a pigeon nest above our door was full of dirt, feathers and more insects. We booked three nights but left after one, only staying that first night because we couldn't find anything else on such short notice. Avoid this accommodation.
