We ended up staying nine nights because we kept wanting more time to enjoy the setting. There’s a pool and a restaurant, and you get a comfortable room while still being right in nature. We saw trees packed with egrets, lots of iguanas, a crane, ducks, fish, a gibnut, turkeys, and more.

The owner was attentive, and the food was delicious. They even make things like jackfruit jam with fruit from their own garden. At sunset the wildlife comes into view: birds, including macaws and ibises, fill the area, while howler monkeys call nearby. There are horses and fish farms too.

The little lagoon and all the nature make this a really peaceful place. In the evening, watching the egrets is entertainment enough, so I didn't miss having a TV in the room. The accommodation prices are very accessible, too.

The rooms are plain but comfortable, and pets are welcome. It's a very affordable spot for relaxing and spending time in nature. Just keep in mind there aren't any TVs.

You can hear the animals right behind the hotel, including monkeys growling. Keeping a hotel like this completely perfect must be difficult, but I'd still recommend it highly.
