The staff are friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was really good, and the restaurant is popular for its tasty food and fair prices. The rooms could use some work, though. They’re reasonably priced, so you get what you pay for.

Carla made our lunch especially enjoyable. She was warm and attentive, spoke English, and let us try a few different mole sauces. Our food came out hot and fast, too. We had a great meal and I’d recommend the restaurant. Hope you get Carla as your server!

The room seemed clean, but it smelled musty, and the noise kept us awake until almost 1 a.m. Ricardo, the restaurant manager, was very helpful during the day, and the food was good with fair prices. I’d come here to eat, but I wouldn’t book a room unless I really had to.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it’s a lovely, quiet place that used to be a private home. Julian, the owner’s son, was such a friendly, kind man. He’s an industrial engineer and had driven over five hours from Guadalajara that weekend to lend a hand.

The building is more than 200 years old, so having breakfast here felt like stepping back in time. We had a delicious, fully authentic Mexican breakfast, even though I couldn’t tell you what we ate. The Cafe de Olla was sweet and full of flavor, and a sweet little breakfast companion was happy to help us finish our plates. A fantastic spot in San Sebastian del Oeste.
