We chose Mas Olas after someone we trusted described it as a peaceful, restorative place. That wasn't what we experienced. There was major construction underway, with jackhammers going every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and nobody had told us before we arrived. The noise was overwhelming when we were first shown our $900/night room. After waiting four hours, we were moved to a quieter area, which we appreciated, but the construction affected much more than the rooms. The only breakfast restaurant is right beside the work zone, so it was extremely loud. Two pools and the bar were basically unusable because of the noise and visibly empty, and the farm-to-table restaurant wasn't available during our stay. At this price, guests should be told in advance if construction is ongoing and amenities are reduced, and given a chance to reschedule or cancel. Other luxury properties I've stayed at have proactively alerted me to similar situations. That's the communication I'd expect here. Mas Olas may be serene again once the construction is finished, but for now I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

We went to Kimpton Mas Olas to look at it as a possible wedding venue and were blown away by the place. The property was immaculate, with beautiful rooms and top-tier amenities, and the food was incredible. Its setting is stunning, and the atmosphere manages to feel elegant while still relaxed. The staff made a real impression, warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. It felt peaceful and luxurious, with thoughtful design everywhere. Such a special, unforgettable visit. Highly recommend!

The spa was a highlight for me. I had a deep tissue massage that was probably one of the best I've ever had, then spent time in the Himalayan salt sauna and steam room. Total bliss. I also loved the little thoughtful touches, like a healthy breakfast bag on the door in the morning, golf cart rides around the property whenever you need one, and the front desk team checking that everything was taken care of. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and I loved that they grow ingredients on their own farm. Best margaritas I've ever had, too. The resort is serious about sustainability: even the water is desalinated from the ocean and purified by reverse osmosis, so I felt fine brushing my teeth and having drinks. The grounds and spa were next-level, and everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. Service felt seamless, and the whole stay was luxurious but relaxed. Kimpton Mas Olas is gorgeous and full of heart. I can't wait to return.

My family has been coming here since it was Rancho Pescadero, so getting to share that special place with our friends and loved ones meant a lot. We got married at Mas Olas in October and are still swooning over how magical the team made it. If you're considering a wedding in Todos Santos, I can't recommend it enough. Normally it's an adult-only hotel, but children can stay if you buy out the property, so don't let that stop you from touring. Once you see it, you'll fall in love. The property is lush and stunning, with so many gardens that wedding flowers feel like a nice extra rather than a necessity. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The chef is incredible and keeps trying new things with fresh farm-to-table ingredients. There are three restaurants on site, so guests can stay put, and the staff can also arrange transportation for anyone wanting to explore town or other restaurants. The staff and their thoughtful hospitality were the standout. They made sure we had direct contact with several people in case anything came up, and at the end of the night surprised us with plates of our wedding food in a portable oven. Everyone knows you're too busy at your wedding to eat properly, so that meant a lot. They were friendly and attentive to our guests, and used golf carts to help anyone with limited mobility get around. Galban, Armando, Citlali, Mario, Isaac and Chef Sandro were all wonderful throughout the stay. The owner, Bill, was communicative and supportive through the whole process, and we're grateful to have met him and his team. Even with all your favorite people there, the grounds are so big that everyone can still find their own space and spend an afternoon however they like. It felt like a big family vacation, with room for quiet and time alone, too. Guests enjoyed the three pools at their own pace, went to the gym each morning, and some used the spa. We never felt crowded. Before the wedding, the staff helped group guests so the late-night party people wouldn't disturb the others. There's a lot of flexibility in where and how to hold events, so explore the grounds and get creative. Citlali and her team will do what they can to make your ideas happen. For a wedding planner, I highly recommend Saltwater weddings & events. She worked so well with the Mas Olas staff, and together they were a dream team. Emily Klarer was our photographer and took the dreamiest photos while we were there. I hope to return to Mas Olas for years to come and relive all those amazing memories.

It felt like a serene, restorative oasis, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The spa is stunning and the restaurants serve such fresh food. Francisco's hospitality made our trip extra special, and every server was incredible, including Karina and Dino. The staff were amazing. We can't wait to come back!
