The Cerritos Beach Inn

You can hear the waves from every beachfront room, and we watched whales jumping right out front each day. The views are amazing, and the sunsets are something else. Staff are attentive, and the on-site restaurant and bar are excellent. It’s a magical little beach hotel. I’d stay here again and will be back.

Our room had a great view of the water, a comfy bed, a good shower, and was clean. We had three meals at the restaurant, all amazing, and the drinks were good too. My wife and I stayed on Valentine’s Day and night, and the boutique hotel staff couldn’t have been more gracious. This place is a gem for the Cerritos/Pescadero area, especially at sunset. Over drinks and dinner we spotted several whales offshore, including a mother showing her baby how to “flipper” and lobtail. Ricardo deserves a shoutout for hustling nonstop and taking care of everyone. It was also great meeting Pete, the new owner. You can tell he cares about the place and wants to create a good vibe for everyone. Thanks for looking after us. If you’re staying in the Cerritos area, this is a must stay!

The ocean views were stunning, and we were right on the water. Waking up to the waves every day made the stay feel special. Every meal was incredible, with not a single dish we didn’t enjoy. Coffee each morning came with a smile and someone checking we had what we needed for the day. This was my best friend’s and my first trip together, and it felt magical from beginning to end. The new owners put so much care into the place, and it shows in all the details. We arrived late, but they handled check-in warmly, brought our luggage up, and helped us get settled. From the moment we got there, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. I really hope they succeed, they’re doing something special here. Cerritos Beach Inn is a gem if you want beautiful ocean views, great food, and hospitality that makes you feel taken care of.

A fabulous place to kick back, relax, and enjoy the oceanfront views from your private room balcony or the restaurant and bar. The location is hard to beat. The place is friendly, clean, and efficient, and the new owners are amazing. What an incredible spot. We’ll be back!
