It was okay for us, but it didn’t feel like the five-star paradise some other reviews describe. The quiet complex and very good internet were positives, as were the comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The pool is quite small and wasn’t especially well kept. The kitchenette would have been useful, but there’s no microwave. Our bathroom door handle had broken off, the toilet seat was broken too, and there were only towels for two even though we were three guests. The tequila bar mentioned in older reviews was tightly locked up and looked unused. We would’ve enjoyed the breeze in the room, but there was no screen on the slider. I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but I’ve stayed in better places at Cerritos.

We were well looked after during our stay. The rooms are spacious and have lovely patios and balconies, while the pool is refreshing and inviting. The rooftop terraces offer great views, with nice tables for breakfast or lunch.

We loved it so much we booked twice in one week. The place is extremely clean, with nice bedding and a gorgeous cactus garden. It’s also a beautiful location within walking distance of the beach. 💯🌵

The owners were so welcoming, and their local knowledge helped us find hidden gems and places we shouldn’t miss. Their attention to detail made the stay feel like home. We’re already planning to return after a fantastic stay at Hotel Villas del Scarlet Cardones. The grounds feel like a peaceful oasis, with lush gardens, a sparkling pool, and a relaxing hot tub. It’s quiet and serene, yet only a short walk to the ocean. We could hear gentle waves from our room. The room was clean and well maintained, and having air-conditioning was a real lifesaver in the summer heat. A tranquil place in a great location.

The host was quick to respond and helpful, and check-in and checkout were both easy. The house was really nice, with a great bathroom, and the kitchen had useful items to cook with. I especially loved the gorgeous, well-kept garden. The pool was great too, and having a hot tub to relax in at night was delightful. You don’t find many hot tubs in Mexico. I’ll definitely come back.
