There wasn't any hot water, either. Getting into the villa was pleasant enough since a security guard walked me there, but after learning I was from the US, he told me, "I don't like the US." The WiFi address and password they gave me were wrong, and fixing that took four hours. On top of the non-refundable booking, they then required a deposit and sent 11 pages of instructions in Spanish. Without paying, I wouldn't have received the access codes.

I only got a limited look around, but the place was really beautiful and so peaceful. I was there for work, hired as a stylist to do makeup and hair at someone's home.

The villas were the weak point for us. Ours was really worn, with lots of things broken, not working, or close to breaking. Still, it's a great place for a weekend if you're after somewhere simple and super quiet.

Lovely place to stay for a few days, whether you're there to relax or get some work done.
