We arrived while construction next door was making constant noise and dust. We asked for a quieter room, but were told we’d have to pay extra to move. There weren’t restaurants nearby, so we asked about using the kitchen. At first we were told access would cost 400 pesos. After we used it the next morning, we were told the fee had changed and that we’d need to upgrade rooms and pay another 1,000 pesos. That didn’t match what we’d originally been told. Soon afterwards our Booking.com reservation was cancelled, and they told us to leave as soon as the cancellation went through. It was a very stressful situation. We moved to Tierra Blanca after that and had a much better stay, with lower prices and a more comfortable setting.

The manager is very friendly, and it’s a lovely, comfortable place, especially if you’re travelling with pets. You can easily drive to all the beaches in Puerto Escondido. The property is right in front of the beach and has a beautiful view, but be careful: it’s open sea and not suitable for swimming. A few meters away, El Puertecito is safe for swimming. Definitely recommended.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, with a pool right on the beach. David, who greeted us, was kind and attentive. My only complaint was that some guests arrived with a very barky dog at 11 p.m. Everything else was incredible.

We had our wedding here, and it was beautiful. My husband and I were thrilled with everything, and our guests loved both the venue and the wedding. The rooms were very clean, and Roberto, Ana, and David gave spectacular service. It’s a great place to get away from the city and unwind. We’ll definitely be back soon.
