Beach House by ULIV

Getting around was easy from here. The carnival, Playa Hermosa, the malecón and historic downtown were all within walking distance, and Uber, Didi and taxis were readily available, taking about five minutes to arrive. I stayed Saturday through Wednesday during Carnaval Ensenada 2026. The beach house rooms were spotless, and I made good use of the pool and jacuzzi. Luis Alberto and the rest of the staff were friendly and shared helpful local tips. City traffic could be heard, but it didn’t disturb my stay. The coffee shop in the lobby was really good, too. I’d consider staying here again if I return to Ensenada, especially for the service and location.

The noise kept us from sleeping well on any of our three nights. The bar next door stays open until 3am and plays loud music late into the night. The hotel walls are thin, too, so you can hear neighbors talking loudly, playing music or watching TV. If that kind of noise doesn’t bother you, this place may suit you. It was an okay stay, but definitely not worth $100 a night. The hotel itself is clean, convenient and safe, just a few blocks from the beach, and the staff were helpful, accommodating and quick to respond.

We’ve stayed here twice, and every front desk person we met was kind and capable. The rooms are spacious and clean, with lots of fluffy pillows, though the beds are firm, which may not be for everyone. The pool and hot tub are fabulous. If the tub isn’t very hot, it may not have been switched on yet that day; just ask the front desk and they’ll happily start it. The only downside is the bar next door, which often has live music until 2am. Earplugs could help if you get one of the rooms closest to it. My kids slept right through it, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Aaron at reception was friendly and professional, and I recommend asking for him. The rooms are nice and look recently remodeled. There’s a coffee shop at reception, with a Soriana grocery store, an arco gas station and a large gym nearby.
