Bottega Hotel Boutique

The grounds look great, and the staff were friendly. It's a small place, maybe around 8 rooms. We seemed to be the only guests the first night, though there were more cars the next evening. The busy road right beside it brings some noise. There's no restaurant at the hotel, so you'll need to drive for food or wine tasting. For what we paid, though, it was good value.

The room itself was great, new, clean, and with lovely lighting. But what we got felt about 5x smaller than the online pictures suggested. The pool was tiny and hot, and it didn't function.

The place worked well for us as a romantic getaway, though it may not suit everyone. The location is great, right by the road and close to good food and lots of wine tasting spots. I expected less and was pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms were and how well kept the whole property is. Satellite TV was down, and they couldn't fix it, though they did their best. They'll try to make sure you enjoy your stay. Check out my pics.

I expected more to do here from the photos, but aside from the room there's nothing to enjoy on site and nothing within walking distance. You have to drive somewhere. The room was spacious and decorated in a modern style, almost like a master suite in a big house, and the continental breakfast was fine. Our shower wouldn't drain, so it quickly turned into a bathtub, and some towels had unflattering stains. It wasn't a bad stay, just felt overpriced. A better price or more care with the details would go a long way.
