Chateaux del Valle

We spent the days checking out nearby wineries and restaurants, then came back to the quiet, secluded feel of Chateaux Del Valle. We had a great time and would recommend it to family and friends. We’ll return on a future trip to El Valle.

Our two-room villa was beautiful, and opening the sliding glass doors to the mountain views was a treat. The location also made it easy to reach the best spots around Valle de Guadalupe. Daniel and Raquel communicated well, despite what some other reviews say. I’d recommend staying here.

The villa was spacious and we loved its design. We were also impressed by the views, location, and service during our birthday weekend with friends. One tip if you’re finding your way there: Chateaux is down the same road as alximia winery. Drive through the gate, keep right around the roundabout, and you’ll reach it. We had trouble locating it, but the staff helped us by message. We’ll be back soon!

There’s no restaurant or other place to get food or drinks on site, so you have to drive whenever you want something. There’s also no front desk, and staff aren’t around all the time, which meant we were alone at the property, especially at night. The location was a little tricky to find at first since the area is still developing and there are no signs. Payment has to be made in advance, though PayPal was no problem for us. The rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The peaceful surroundings and lovely view were a real plus, especially by one of the fireplaces in the evening. If you’re comfortable being on your own sometimes and want a quiet stay, I’d recommend it.
