El Alamo

We were lucky to find El Alamo when we needed a last-minute place to stay. The staff were friendly, and I loved how sweet they were with their pets. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the price was low. Breakfast was great, too. With so much nearby to do and see, you could easily stay here for a long weekend. Highly recommend.

We spent the evenings by the fire pit with wine, and the weekend kitchen had a great atmosphere and food. Breakfast was a highlight too, with fresh fruit and delicious chilaquiles. El Alamo is well placed for visiting nearby wineries. Our room was simple, cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The mountain views and outdoor spots for sitting or eating were lovely, and there’s a wonderful restaurant just two minutes down the road. This is a quiet, modest B&B with a full cooked breakfast. It’s spotlessly clean, the AC is quiet, and the price is great compared with the newer, glitzier places.

We were happy spending the evening on the little patio, lighting the fire pit and having a glass of wine. The owner was friendly, really helpful, and pointed us in the right direction. The place is just getting started, so I’d suggest booking a night. It’s got the basics we needed for a place to sleep, plus cable TV, its own heater and AC. It was clean and comfortable, and the shower had hot water right away. Highly recommend!
