It was passable for one night, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. The place isn’t too far from the main road and may be fairly easy to reach in dry weather, though I imagine the road would be awful in the rainy season. We stayed in cabin #5, the one at the back, during the first week of July. It’s cute and has a nice view. The pool was lovely, with a deep section for swimming, and the raised jacuzzi looks out over it. We turned the jacuzzi on, but the water never got hot. At 98 degrees outside, we didn’t need it anyway. The room was still extremely hot when we arrived around 2:30. I cranked up the wall AC and went to the pool, but when we came back it was still hot. The bathroom has a full glass roof, so sunlight and heat pour in and spread into the room. We showered and tried to nap while sweating. As the sun went down, it shone straight onto the front of the cabin. The room, door, and windows felt hot, and I could feel waves of heat inside. The door was thin, warped, and looked like it was falling apart. It seemed like someone could break in with a push of an elbow, which made me uneasy. We went out to dinner and came back late to a cooler room, but the AC made strange metallic noises during the night. I thought someone might be breaking in and slept badly. In the morning we used the pool again, showered in the hot bathroom, and left. There are no grills unless you’re in cabin 4, which has a kitchenette, so you can’t cook otherwise. The rooms have no refrigerator, so bring a cooler and snacks. There’s nothing nearby, meaning you have to drive out for supplies. The finca has a gate anyone can open and no cameras or security. I felt uncomfortable with how isolated and dark it was at night. The room also wasn’t very clean. There was lint on the bed frame, mosquitoes squashed on the wall, and stains on the coffee mugs. The coffee maker had to sit on the floor to reach an outlet. I washed the mugs with hand soap and the stains came off. This place has perfect reviews here, but the reviews on other websites aren’t as good.

The host was really attentive and sweet. She suggested places for us to visit, which helped since it can feel overwhelming to choose where to go on a first trip. We stayed in one of the three connected cabins, each with its own entrance. It was cozy and cute, with a rustic feel. Inside were a bed, two chairs, a coffee and wine station, and a bathroom with a shower and hot water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the windows and glass door in daylight, but at night you can see inside through the door when the lights are on. I wish it had a curtain like the windows. It can get a little cold at night in winter, so bring an extra blanket. There’s AC but no heater. I didn’t get any Wi-Fi information, though I didn’t ask either. Aside from that, I’d definitely go back.

We had a great stay. The one thing that bothered us was the main door had no curtain, so people outside could see in.

A quiet, clean spot close to all the major vineyards. I’d stay here again for sure.

Everything was beautiful and clean, and the customer service was excellent. I loved the whole experience and can’t wait to return!
