Temexkal Resort

It’s a lovely small resort, with plants all over and plenty of good shade. The place is super clean, the jacuzzi is perfect, and the food is good. The beds are comfortable too. We’ll be back for sure, I think we’ve found a favorite spot!

Beautiful setting, clean rooms, and excellent service.

The view and the rooms were beautiful and relaxing, but checkout left us with a bad experience. Jessica at the front desk was rude and insisted we pay for minibar beers we hadn’t drunk, since we’d bought our own. We showed her the empty bottles with the case, but apparently their inventory isn’t kept well, or someone is drinking them. Take pictures of the minibar when you arrive and again when you leave. I won’t stay here again.

There was so little hot water that I ended up taking a cold shower. We paid extra for a suite with a jacuzzi, but there wasn’t enough hot water to fill the tub. When I raised it, they told me not to fill it all the way, just halfway to cover the skimmers, and lectured me that the jets work properly that way. The “breakfast included” was only fruit, with nothing else.
