Posada Soleil Bed and Breakfast

Getting around for the wedding weekend was easy, since the bed and breakfast is close to the main Ruta del Valle. We made it to Friday's pre-wedding reception, Saturday's mass at the church of Guadalupe, and then the winery reception without trouble. Linda was kind and accommodating, even telling me to take my time at checkout on Sunday. I stayed this past weekend in the middle of summer, when finding a cabin or log house in beautiful Valle de Guadalupe can be a challenge. I was glad the AC worked just right. We Americans are spoiled by good AC back home, so that was a relief. There was plenty of warm water for a shower after dancing at the nightclub or at the wedding. The units are spacious, with private bathrooms and plenty of chairs and tables. Each one has a round table and chairs out front, nice for morning coffee or a glass of wine later in the day. Linda served breakfast and worked with my preference for vegan food, bringing a delicious bowl of fresh fruit from the Valley. If you eat meat, she also offers Empanadas de Carne, pan dulce, bagels, and other Mexican breakfast options with animal products. I especially enjoyed the fresh strawberries, mango, and pineapple. I enjoyed my stay a lot and would book here again.

Lili made us feel welcome and was a wonderful host. The continental breakfast was simple but tasty and satisfying, and the quiet setting and lovely views made for a very pleasant stay. The pictures don't really capture what a special gem this is in the Valle. We'll definitely return.

We were a family of four visiting San Antonio de las Minas and the wineries, and this was a perfect place to stay. It felt like home. The owner greeted us, then offered a small breakfast the next morning. The price was better than at other places.

Lili was a great host, and the room was clean. We had a very good bed and breakfast stay and would definitely come back.
