It’s quiet for Mexico, on the edge of town, and I’ll stay here again. This family owned boutique hotel is clean, with nice hosts and a very accommodating family restaurant. The rooms are functional rather than elaborate, and the Wi-Fi is good.

After days of driving, I needed somewhere to stay and got so much more. The owners were friendly and spoke English, even in this small town. The family-run hotel had an immaculate room and bathroom, fresh food that was excellent, and cold beer. It’s pet friendly too.

A free breakfast and gated parking made this an ideal stopover. It’s a great little family-run motel with a fantastic restaurant onsite, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of work into the place. My bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and there was plenty of hot water. One of my best decisions in Mexico so far.

It’s about a 10-minute walk from the new Tren Maya train station. The rooms are simple but clean and tidy, quiet and comfortable, with a large double bed. Service was very friendly and helpful, and the price for what you get is absolutely good.

The small restaurant serves excellent food, and the owners are dog friendly with very good prices. The location is a bit strange, but don't let that put you off, it feels very safe and friendly. A superb family-run hotel, highly recommended if you have your own vehicle.
