Hotel Islas Canarias

The location made me uneasy, like I might get robbed, and there was a lot of noise. The towels and sheets smelled awful, and the bathroom was tiny with no fan or hairdryer. Honestly, if my partner hadn't been so passionate, I would've left as soon as I walked in. 🤦🏾‍♂️

It was inexpensive, and my first stay seems to have landed me a particularly good room. It looked clean, the water was warm, and the lighting was great. The staff member who helped me was attentive and useful, though a little nosy. I’ll probably return.

I can't recommend this hotel. The reception staff were rude and arrogant, and kept imposing restrictions that weren't written in the rules. They said their boss reprimands them and makes the rules. If that's really the case, he seems foolish to me: guests keep the hotel going, bring in profit, and help pay those receptionists' salaries. Avoid it if you don't want a bad experience.

For what it offers, this place is expensive, and it's among the worst around. Mosquitoes were everywhere, staff made noise outside the room all night, and the amount charged didn't match the posted rates. Metrópoli is much better, a thousand times better. 🤮🤮🤮
