The whole apartment smelled like cigarettes, which was really unpleasant for nonsmokers. When I asked for my money back, they refused, saying it was already too late. They offered to rent me the entire apartment, but I'd have had to pay for the other room too. I ended up getting no refund, had to go to a hotel, and paid twice. When I called, I was told it was a hotel, so I booked and paid. Only after arriving did I learn it was apartments and that I would have to share a room with someone else.
