There’s currently breakfast available at the restaurant for 150 pesos per person. We requested an inside room, so the noise wasn’t too bad, though the quiet air conditioner doesn’t block out sounds from outside. The pillows are very thick and uncomfortable.

The staff were really nice, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. There aren’t any places to eat nearby, but two restaurants can bring food right to your room. Towels, shampoo, soap, slippers and a hair dryer were provided. I’d stay again, and it should be a four-star hotel.

The main drawback was nighttime noise. The hotel sits beside one of the city’s main avenues, and passing trucks can make the room vibrate, which might bother some people, though it wasn’t too much trouble for us. Food options are plentiful nearby, and across the street is the central de abastos, a traditional Mexican market with narrow passages and lots of people, where you can find almost any kind of food. We had a great experience at Hotel Expo abastos: it was clean, in an excellent location, and every host was super friendly and provided excellent service.

The rooms are very good and the service was good too. They should work on breakfast, though, it was very salty and had no flavor.
