Fch Hotel Providencia- Adults Only

I definitely recommend FCH Providencia Guadalajara. The room was comfortable to get around from, with many places within walking distance, and the neighborhood mixes homes and businesses with lots of restaurants. People say it’s safe and say they feel safe, though there are security fences with barbed wire around private homes and elsewhere. WhatsApp replies were quick, and room rates were good. There’s a restaurant and coffee on site. A few small things could be better. I got only two free bottles of water for my three-night stay, so I had to buy more. Since tap water can’t be drunk or used for brushing your teeth, bottled water is needed. I’d also have liked a simple complimentary breakfast, a couple of washcloths, and face towels. My room had two bath towels and a floor mat towel only. I didn’t use the coffee pot, pool, weight room, or other amenities, so I can’t comment on them. The bellhop didn’t turn on the mini-split AC or show me how it worked, so I figured it out on the second day. You have to press a button on the unit itself before the wall thermostat will work, then turn that on too. Until I got it sorted, the room was hot, stuffy, and humid. Hope this helps a few travelers.
