The location is good and the staff are very good, but the room amenities need work. Basic toiletries like toothpaste and a shaving kit were missing. I wouldn’t call it five-star, maybe four-star. Breakfast is a little expensive, and vegetarians won’t find much variety beyond fruit and juice.

The price is great, but it’s not worth having no working AC in the room. I called the front desk and they sent a technician, but it still didn’t work properly. The hotel needs upgrades.

The location is very good, and the hotel is spacious, including the rooms. The rooms could use better lighting inside. Otherwise, everything was fine, and it’s a good place for an overnight stay.

The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and went out of their way to help with requests. That helped balance a stay with some serious upkeep and cleanliness problems. The hotel has a great spot right in front of La Minerva, but the property needs a thorough renovation to live up to it. There was heavy black mold in the bathroom shower, affecting hygiene and leaving an unpleasant smell. Carpets throughout were visibly dirty and stained, with a lot of wear. Some furniture and fixtures also looked outdated and in poor condition. With modernization and better cleaning, this hotel could make much better use of its fantastic location.
