They treated me like family and were so nice and helpful. The food was good, and they make good tequila drinks too!

The location was good, and we met some nice fellow guests. Beyond that, the place didn’t look anything like the photos. The pool was the one thing that matched, but it was crowded with people who weren’t staying there, so I didn’t even want to use it. The advertised price was $755, but they charged more. For cleanliness, service, or value, I wouldn’t recommend it. The bed smelled like sweaty feet, and the headboard had white marks that looked like drool or dandruff, along with eyelashes and hair. The bathroom was dirty, smelled of sewage all the time, and had hair in the toilet bowl. I couldn’t tell if it was pubic hair. The "mini air conditioner" they put in smelled of stagnant water. The service left a lot to be desired. I could get a response from the dad more easily than from the manager, whose identity wasn’t clear.

Their customer service was excellent. They were understanding about different situations, and the price felt fair for the rooms and access to the pool.

The location is convenient, about a 20-minute walk from the historic center. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s a nice hostel. The shared rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed, plus several roomy refrigerators. There’s no air conditioning, but the pool is great for cooling off.
