Alex made delicious cocktails at the bar, which was our favorite part of the stay. The hotel itself is older and basic, but the rooms are roomy and clean, and the staff are friendly. It worked well for getting a comfortable night's sleep, with a clean bathroom and nice hot water.

The staff acted like working was a bother. There was no hospitality or real sense of service toward guests.

The restaurant in the lobby was a real plus. Everything we tried was delicious and priced well, so for once we didn’t feel we had to go elsewhere to eat while staying at a hotel. Their malteadas are to die for, and the place doesn’t charge $20 for a small cheeseburger like the first restaurant attached to a four-star hotel we’ve found on this trip. We’ve been traveling around Mexico for several months, and this is probably the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The staff are respectful and professional. We travel with a service animal, so it matters that a hotel understands and respects that need. This one did, and more. Gabby at the front desk was a pleasure from check-in, and she’s the reason we’ll stay here whenever we’re in Guadalajara. If you want a wonderful hotel, you can’t go wrong here. The quiet residential surroundings were a plus, and the bus stop nearby made it easy for us to get straight downtown. The hotel is decent for the money, nothing fancy but not bad either. If all you need is somewhere to shower and sleep, it’s worth considering.
