The pool was relaxing, and the place has a lot of potential, but the afternoon staff made this a really bad stay. My son couldn’t bring in the snacks and drinks he likes, even though we were hotel guests, which is ridiculous. They also charged us after every order instead of settling up at checkout like we’re used to at other hotels. At one point, while I was trying to relax in the steam room, a waiter came in and told me to come out and pay. The morning crew had been amazing, so the difference was stark. My family and I travel a lot and stay in hotels all over the world, including GDL. We definitely don’t recommend this place.

The staff are friendly and the location is good, but check-in and checkout don’t feel very professional. The place has the charm of an old love hotel, though the rooms are run down. The shower heads spray everywhere, the shower leaks, and the towels are really, really old.

We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back. It’s a fabulous boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood, with spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, and the whole stay felt top tier.

The pool is lovely, but it’s so warm it feels like bath water, and there’s a strong artificial smell while you sit nearby. The bed and pillows were hard, and the shower sprays water past the enclosure. I wouldn’t give this hotel four stars.
