The restaurant fan’s pulley system was so loud it sounded like something from a cartoon. Worse, I got bitten by bedbugs. I complained and shared photos, but they just said no because they clean. It’s dirty, so be warned. If they’d compensated me for the bites, I wouldn’t have written this. They simply don’t care.

For a short work trip in Guadalajara, this place put me right in the middle of things. It’s on Chapultepec, so bars, coffee shops, and restaurants in Colonia Americana are an easy walk away. I could get to the rooftop and bar easily, and my room had AC and natural light. There’s a washer and dryer on site, plus nighttime security. Great fit for a brief business visit or if you want to be close to the action.

Be careful with this hotel. They cancel reservations and don’t answer the phone, especially the snobbish secretary who picks up. Choose somewhere else. Safety first.
