Villas Flamingos is close to Punta Mosquito, on a calm stretch of the main beach. It feels tucked away but is still walkable to downtown. The property is gorgeous, and we had an incredible four days in Holbox. We started in Tulum, where our booked ride to Chiquila never arrived and left us stranded in Tulum DT. We contacted the hotel in a panic, and within ten minutes they arranged a minivan. Their WhatsApp communication was fantastic. Our room was spacious with a subtle jungle and Boho chic style, and the Nespresso machine was a big plus. The bathroom has no proper door to the bedroom, so privacy is limited. Staff were polite and lovely, though service could be slow. Pool service was almost nonexistent, with a waiter only appearing occasionally, and the restaurant was usually slow too. Breakfast is a la carte with lots of choices, and everything we tried was tasty. Lunch at the beach club was great, with plenty of options. The ceviche and fish tacos were excellent and fairly priced. Dinner was average and quite European, not the best meal we had. Even with those drawbacks, the experience was fantastic and felt like barefoot luxury. We'd definitely return.

Ivan deserves a special mention for going above and beyond throughout our stay. His kindness, care, and attention to detail made the experience unforgettable. The whole team was warm, attentive, and ready to help. Hotel Villas Flamingos itself is beautiful, with peaceful surroundings, stunning views, and clean, thoughtfully designed rooms that made it easy to relax. From arrival, the property felt like paradise. If you're visiting Holbox, I can't recommend it enough.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service was brilliant. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, stylish, and clean, and breakfast and lunch were great. They leave insect repellent cream around the hotel. It looks like hand sanitizer, so don't miss it, it's really helpful! You can walk along the beach to the town centre in about 20 minutes, or take a taxi for a fixed 150 pesos each way. Free bikes are available too. I'd love to come back!

I love travelling and I love Mexico, but the staff here were completely unhelpful. I was asleep face down on a lawn chair after being there for two hours, when an elderly gentleman hit me on the head and told me to get out of his spot. There were no assigned spots, and the staff did nothing to help. The pools in the room aren't heated, and the activities they say they offer aren't actually available. The showers leak. Customer service was 0/10. Don't stay here, even if it's on sale. It's a glorified motel.

The beach is amazing, the showers are hot, and the food is great. The beds are comfy, service is top notch, and the hotel is gorgeous for the price. We're here as a couple and already planning to come back with the whole family.
