The location was amazing, with everything we needed within walking distance. Check in, however, was a nightmare and took over an hour, and communication was fair at best. It was dark when our Uber dropped us off, and we couldn't find the entrance to the large condo complex. They hadn't told us the door was around the corner. My friend didn't have ID. We had an appointment at the U.S. Consulate the next morning and shared a copy of the appointment confirmation and the report for his lost passport. They asked me to add my ID to his room, which I did, but then said it wasn't enough. After I sent a signed doctor's note as well, along with the lost passport report and confirmation of our 8:30am appointment, we waited more than an hour for approval to enter. I had paid for both rooms and the required “insurance.” Why was check in so difficult? The instructions weren't easy to follow, and whenever I asked for help, they sent me a long message thread unrelated to check in. It was exasperating, especially with my 72 year old friend struggling to walk and stand in the dark. Once inside, my room smelled like sewer. The shower drain had a cover, but it wasn't in use, which caused the smell. The air conditioner was aimed at the kitchen wall around the corner from the bed. Thankfully, I had a balcony and could open the door for cool, fresh air. My friend wasn't bothered by the lack of air in his room. I'd never recommend renting from this property or these managers. Everything else was perfect, and the hotel was nice with good security. My room had no hot water, though, and there wasn't anyone at the desk to ask or any number I knew to call. I booked through hotels.com. We were also sad that the pool was covered when we wanted to use it in the morning, so we couldn't swim between 8am and checkout.

Booking.com sent me a code after I contacted them, and I was finally able to get in. Before that, the authentication entry system didn't work at either the door or the elevator. I arrived at the door Google Maps took me to and couldn't get inside. There was another entrance with a security guard, but I spent more than 10 minutes trying the authentication door before someone inside noticed me and let me in. That's when I realized authentication doesn't work for reservations made through an outside site like Booking.com. The guard said this happens every time. The room looked clean at first, but the sofa bed was broken and unusable, and a cockroach appeared as soon as I pulled it out. The whole room smelled like sewage from the bathroom, making the night uncomfortable. The window was slightly open, but I couldn't operate it myself, and it was cold in the morning. I realized it had probably been left open all the time because the sewage smell was so bad. Since it's pet friendly, I can't say the place is clean.

The pool was nice, but it could use some upkeep. Getting in was a pain because everything runs through a QR code and it took forever. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and there’s no parking or alternative. They even scolded us for stopping briefly. The poor service alone would keep me from returning.

There’s nowhere to eat, no laundry center, and the rooms and hallways aren’t cleaned. The internet is awful, and the pool is in terrible shape. My child cut a finger badly, but there was nobody to report it to. I read that the poor condition has lasted more than 6 months. The hot water also stopped working, with no response, even though they claim there have never been problems despite comments about it from 11 months ago. What the website shows is incomplete.
