Breakfast was the biggest letdown. The hotel uses a bistro setup where you have to order instead of taking food yourself. The first day my order came in under 10 minutes, but on day two I waited 30 minutes for an omelette that never arrived. I had to leave for a waiting taxi with my colleagues, even though only a few tables were occupied and about five people were cooking. Plan accordingly. There was no pool or gym during my stay. The hotel has no restaurant, though there's a decent one next door and a Wallmart about a 5 minute walk away. My room had sealed windows, so there was no fresh air, and it faced a busy four lane street, which made it noisy. The hotel itself was decent.

The staff were professional and nice, and the hotel was pleasant for my one night layover. There's a Sam's Club right next door and several places to eat in the area. I'd stay here again if I'm in Monterrey.

The beds were comfortable, the staff were really friendly, and shops and restaurants are nearby. Still, I won't be back. The hotel feels old, and only one elevator works. The gym equipment is very dated, with an old, rusty weight tower. The rooms seem to have had one light refurbishment, maybe 10 years ago. The AC is as loud as a truck, and the carpet is awful and dirty. Don't walk around without shoes.

Dariel really stood out. He was eager to help, spoke English very well, and offered to translate when needed. I was visiting from the US with a friend, and while knowing some Spanish helped, the staff were patient with us. The room floors felt secure, since you needed a key to access them. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the breakfast was great. We'd stay again if we're in Monterrey.

The receptionist went out of her way to have my room ready a little earlier than usual. Service and security were both very good. The hotel is well situated and has great amenities, including an indoor pool and a 24 gym.
