Hotel Indigo Guanajuato by IHG

We had a comfortable three-night stay in a clean, spacious room with two double beds. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well without being noisy. There wasn't a view, but that helped keep the room quiet, which we appreciated in a busy, loud city. Everything we wanted to see was walkable, with the longest trip taking around 15-20 minutes. The breakfast buffet was really good, and the staff there were friendly. Raphael was especially nice to chat with about the city and places to eat. I'd happily stay here again.

Cecilia Lopez made the stay especially memorable. She was welcoming and attentive from the start, went out of her way to help, and shared local suggestions that made exploring Guanajuato better. Indigo is beautifully designed, with modern comforts that fit the area's history, and it's well placed for seeing the lively city. The amenities were excellent, and I left feeling rested. I'd happily recommend it, and I'm grateful to Cecilia for such warm hospitality.

Parking was easy and free in the underground garage, which was a plus if you have a car. The location is also great for walking to the main sights. We were first offered a room with noisy air conditioning units outside the window and nothing to look at but bare rooftops. There was no breakfast included, unlike at other IHG hotels where we've stayed as elite members. We changed rooms, but the replacement was much smaller. The towels looked old and dirty.

I had a really good experience here. The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very attentive. The restaurant was nice and the food delicious. There's also a large parking area. It's about a 15 or 20 minute trip to the center, and I'd recommend staying here.
