Great location, but that didn’t make up for the terrible service. The room was tiny and you could hear EVERYTHING. One woman with black hair served us kindly, but a guy tried to extort $50 per suitcase from us. The cleaner came in without knocking, our belongings went missing, and she didn’t even clean the bathroom. There was no hot water at 10:30 a.m., and I got sick. Early in the morning some drunk guys came in and kept us from resting. Then in the morning they started fucking, and everyone in the building could hear them.

We arrived at 3:00 PM, went out, and came back at 7:00 PM to find cockroaches in the bathroom and on a shelf. We left right away and got no refund. To clarify the hotel's response, the last person I spoke with a few days later was emphatic that we were not due a refund.

The biggest problem was finding two cockroaches in the bathroom when we went to use it. I had to go to Oxxo to buy spray, which came to around 14 pesos. I called reception straight away, and they offered us another room. From other reviews, it seems this has happened to others too. They say you won’t have the problem if you get a superior room, but we were too worried about more cockroaches to rest properly. I hope they deal with it because it’s a serious issue. The rooms are somewhat small, though fine if all you need is a place to sleep. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly, and the city center and main attractions are quite close. The app says parking is available, but it’s on the street, so keep that in mind.

There’s an Oxxo across the street, plus a bakery and a few food stalls just meters away, and the location is good. The room was small but fair for the price and very clean. Staff were helpful, too, and helped us book activities.
