The room had a great view, and the rooms themselves were nice. The bed was extra firm, though, and the pool was super cold. The weather was weird, so I can’t blame them for the pool. Breakfast was okay but probably not worth the money. It was pretty empty, likely because the hotel sits on top of a hill. Downtown is fairly close and you can walk, but it’s a million steps down, so you’ll use Uber a lot.

The bathrooms smelled awful, like sewer water, and there were dirty linens, mattresses, and pillowcases. The door latches were broken, so the key card didn’t work and we had to use an old rusty key. It felt like staying in an old subway station. A local guide told us the property had been vacant for years and ransacked, which is why it was in such deplorable condition. Breakfast was below average, and the service wasn’t good. We booked through an app, but they overcharged us when we arrived. When we pushed back, the manager insulted us and was rude throughout. At checkout, they wanted us to show our credit card again, which made no sense. We refused, so they locked the gate and called the police. The police came and let us leave because there was no reason to keep us there. Beware of this place. Your vacation will be ruined if you stay here.

The views are amazing, and the staff were really nice and helpful. The drainage smelled a bit, but it was a nice place for one night.

There’s no heat or AC, and the rooms had cold water. The restaurant is a joke: we waited over an hour and never got served. Everyone left the tables empty because no one got their food. Don’t waste your time.
