Hotel El Camino Real

We'd been staying there for years, since 1989, but after this experience we will never stay at Camino Real Hotel again. It's been 49 years of staying there, and this was the end for us. They have a new general manager and a supervisor I found very nasty. He wore a plaid long-sleeve shirt and glasses. Any time you complain, he treats you like you're the problem. At 9 pm, kids were playing in the parking lot. I complained at 10, and a girl said she'd take care of it. By 11, nothing had changed, so I asked the kids to call their parents. Their parents arrived, and the woman said management hadn't told them to quiet down. They'd paid for 13 rooms, she said, so they were on vacation and would never be quiet. She said they were from CD JUAREZ CHIH. I went to the office to complain. Another woman was by the front door, and I waited for the boy to finish with a customer so I could explain the problem. He didn't respond. The man in the plaid shirt told me, "we will take cara of the problem," and I said, "I need the problem to be taken care of it NOW." He said, "ok then let's go now," and I followed him. He asked which room, and I pointed to 13. The door was open; he saw the kids and their parents, but they didn't answer. A man came over and shut the door. The supervisor did nothing and left. I told my brother what happened when he got to the hotel. He went to the office, and that same supervisor told him we'd never get a discount or refund, and that we were problem people. Later, while we were in line for breakfast, I said I'd go sit at a table and wait. A woman at another table yelled that it was the kids' table. I said nobody was there when I sat down and I wasn't moving. The women began yelling at me. My brother came over and explained that the table had been empty when I sat down. A man then told him it was their table. I said it was first come, first served. Five more men came over and threatened my brother. At that point, there were six women and eight men around us, so I pulled out my TEASER AND PEPPER SPRAY. They walked away, and we went to a different restaurant to eat. When I later asked the girl at the office for towels, she said the group had complained about me pulling out my teaser and pepper spray. I told her I'd done it to defend us, since it was about 20 people against the two of us. Then I asked to speak to the gerente. It was totally useless.
