The room was beautifully done, with a large fridge, a fantastic bathroom, and the most comfortable bed. We chose a standard room knowing it wouldn’t have a direct beach view, and were very happy with it. It was just steps from the pool and beachfront, where the beaches were pristine and beautiful. The hotel has eight rooms, plus another three in a villa next door. Isaac gave us a fantastic welcome, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was included each morning, with a good range of options such as eggs, avocado on toast, and freshly squeezed juice. The hotel was great value for its large rooms, and we weren’t disappointed. A handful of restaurants and some street food vendors are about a five-minute walk away. It’s an easy, flat 25-minute walk into town. Golf carts are available to hire and are a fun way to get around, though not essential. Taxi buggies are easy to find and affordable. If you’re too tired to walk back, a ride to the hotel costs about 200 Mexican pesos. Our first visit to Isla Holbox was wonderful, and we highly recommend this hotel.

The beachfront suite was well worth upgrading to. It’s huge, with a massive private terrace and an unbeatable sea view. Breakfast was excellent and good value for the island. The hotel sits right on the beach, within easy walking distance of town. Isak and Johnny run a brilliant team. They understand good service and make sure guests are well looked after, going above and beyond to meet your needs. This was easily the best of the three places we stayed, and we definitely recommend it. Thanks to the team for making our stay such a pleasure.

After some nightmare accommodation experiences on Hellbox, arriving here felt like heaven. The room was spectacular, large, spacious, and elegant, with a beautiful ocean view and a great terrace. The beds were so comfortable I wanted to stay in them all day. The sheets and bathroom were clean, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. Those things matter a lot to me, so I was very grateful. There was also a little fridge and a coffee machine. ❤️ The people were the highlight. Our host and the manager, Isaac, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and happy. His staff were polite and helpful, and we felt truly cared for. The chef was the real winner, serving wonderful breakfasts with a lovely smile and fresh juice of the day. On our last day we were rushing for the ferry and had no time to eat, so he made us the best sandwich I’ve ever had: sourdough with scrambled eggs, avocado, and bacon. It completely stole my heart. THANK YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Isak and everyone on staff were so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect vacation. We felt safe and welcome throughout our wonderful stay. The room was lovely, and the pool was perfect for a quick cool-off. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The views from the hotel and beach are amazing, and we loved Holbox so much. The location worked perfectly for us, far enough from the center to stay reasonably quiet and relaxing. Our room was cleaned every day after we brought in sand from the beach, and the cleaner did a great job. Best of all were Carolina and the rest of the staff. They were exceptional, so helpful, and nothing was too much to ask. Just for the staff alone, we’ll try to come back every year. We have absolutely nothing negative to say. Best staff, best hotel!
