Hotel Garcia Peral

I'm from the waps and only went because my mom, who worked here as a child, insisted I visit. I can only comment on the food: it was alright, kind of mid, but the service was great.

The service was really good, as it is everywhere else, and the location is great. Still, the quality wasn't great for a place that costs more than most hotels, and I wouldn't stay here again. The restaurant food was overpriced, bland, and lacking flavor.

The building is outdated but well maintained, with a small pool and tiny gym that I didn't try. Staff were somewhat friendly, never rude. I ordered pizza from a nearby place, but they wouldn't let it be delivered to my room, so I had to pick it up at the front desk. It wasn't a big deal, but I found it bothersome. The restaurant looked nice, though we ate elsewhere. The location is great, but the bars around the main square were noisy and I couldn't fully rest during my two nights. There was a big party at The Club de Leones, right in front of the main entrance, until very late. It was a weekend, so maybe weekdays are better. I have mixed feelings and the hotel fell short of my expectations. Next time I'll look for other options.

The room smelled bad, and the beds weren't soft. They also charged an extra 200 pesos per guest and charged me 100 pesos for a small towel because of a small "Makeup" stain. Air conditioning costs extra.
