I stayed here a couple of times, for different lengths, and found it one of the city’s most affordable budget options. The room was standard, clean, and comfortable, and I had no concerns. Prices were clearly explained with no markups. I paid around 200 MXN per night back in 2020. The surrounding area isn’t the best, but the hotel feels fairly secure. You leave your key at the desk and give your room number when you return. It’s close to Paque Agua Azul, one of the most underrated parks in the whole city. The Tianguis around here are worth checking out too, though they run on different days and at different times. I found a nice hand painted bookmark for a couple pesos.

We’re traveling by motorcycle with our friend, and tried this place because it has on-site parking. The lot is gated at night but open during the day. The front desk attendant seemed nice enough, though check-in was strange: she only took the name on the reservation for our information. We gave her the key, a couple hundred pesos, and left. The hotel is VERY run down, with dingy rooms and a bathroom that wasn’t great. We’re usually not very picky, but for a similar price we found places in MUCH safer areas with much better accommodations. After seeing the room, we made a plan and found another hotel. If we hadn’t found one, we probably could have slept there, but we would’ve spent the day in el centro, come back in the evening, and left as early as possible in the morning.

The room smelled, and there was dust everywhere. It was dirty, with no phone in the room and an old big box TV without a remote. The locked doors didn’t feel secure either. Sketchy place.

If you want the Max Payne experience, this is the place. It’s cheap and quiet, but easily the nastiest hotel around.
