We had a restful stay at Agua Azul La Villa, with a quiet beach only a short walk away and lovely views from our room and patio. The restaurant next door serves great food, and other places to eat are a short, inexpensive cab ride away. There’s lots here for comfort, from beach chairs and towels to umbrellas and coolers. In the common area, there’s a fridge stocked with drinks on an honour basis, and breakfast comes with plenty of fresh fruit and pastries. Amy was a great source of local information, and we enjoyed talking with her over breakfast. We’ll be back!

In our nine days at Agua Azul la Villa, we never ran out of things to do. We went whale watching, snorkeling, and scuba diving, and visited waterfalls in the hills. La Crucecita, with its restaurants and shops, is a quick cab ride away, and the taxis were so easy to use that we didn’t need a rental car. We’d like to try rafting next time, and maybe make it to Oaxaca city. The room was cozy, had AC and a private terrace, and was cleaned daily. Breakfast and coffee were included. A beautiful, peaceful beach is about a 10-minute walk away, so the location worked out perfectly. Thanks, Amy, for being such a wonderful host!

Amy made us feel so welcome and always had a story or helpful local knowledge to share. The place was laid-back and charming, just what we wanted, and close to great beaches and restaurants. We had a wonderful week and will definitely return.

We had a lovely, relaxing family stay at the villas, with a beautiful view of the beach. Agua Azul was so welcoming. If you’re after a peaceful place in a great part of Huatulco, this is a good choice.

We ended our trip here, and it was a lovely way to finish. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, and we arrived to rose petals and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the pool was a nice place to lounge. A quiet, deserted beach is an easy 10-minute walk away. Amy was a terrific host, helpful and knowledgeable, and fun to talk with. She also helped us choose from the many restaurants in town. Cabs were cheap, quick to arrive, and easy to arrange. Thanks, Amy, for making the stay so good. We’re looking forward to seeing you next time.
